Mothers face facts about their sons in Wieden + Kennedy's latest Old Spice campaign.
Wieden + Kennedy Portland are back for another one of its campaigns for ad world favourite, Old Spice. In the series of funny ads, which have some great actor, mothers express their sorrow on losing their lovely sons to predatory females lured by the boys' powerful scent of Old Spice.
The ads, where the mummies in ‘mummies boys’ face the fact that they may no longer be the most important woman in their sons' life, are part of the “Smellcome to Manhood” campaign to promote Old Spice's new body sprays.
The campaign is also part of an education effort by the brand to prevent the scourge of overspraying. See infographic below.
