Mees is a native from Amsterdam. In 2013 he graduated from the Dutch Film Academy. His graduation film ‘Even Cowboys Get to Cry’ was critically acclaimed and awarded several prices, it premiered at the Berlinale 2014. His short film ‘Un Creux Dans Mon Coeur’ is the Dutch representative at the Oscars 2016, category Best Live Action Short, and premiered at the Berlinale 2015.

I hope that brands will use their power to get up against companies to fight for equality. No gender or sex based cut-downs anymore. In many ways it should be the norm rather than the exception. There are definitely brands who try their best already, and as far as the other brands who pretend I would love to see more action and less talking.
