Editor-in-chief Michael Weinzettl recently received this message on Facebook from our friend Rimantas Stanevicius of the MILK agency in Vilnius, Lithuania. It reads like this:
Hi there, Michael,
I’m writing to you regarding a very sensitive matter.
We are raising funds for a small boy with a big brain tumor. He's the son of Laurynas Sadauskas (head of Publicis One in Lithuania), an old friend and a colleague from the industry.
Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma is a very rare type of cancer and its only treatable in a few innovative centers in France, Switzerland and the US. The thing is the treatment costs an amount that was probably never raised for one person in our country. That is why we are trying to reach out beyond Lithuania.
Do you think Lürzer’s Archive could help with our cause?
Here’s a shareable post with more details:

A link to a fund-raising platform “You Caring”:
https://www.youcaring.com/teodorassadauskas-1035575
where people can donate there using PayPal.
It’s also possible to do it via a bank transfer: Recipient: Teodoro kovos su smegenu veziu paramos ir labdaros fondas Account number: LT774010051004141201 Bank: Luminor Bank AB Swift: AGBLLT2X
All the unused funds left after the treatment will be donated to a Lithuanian charity fund “Rugute”, supporting children battling cancer.
We’re using these hashtags:
#TeddysFight #TeodoroKova
I would be grateful for any help here!
Best, Rimantas
I hope that publishing this on the Lürzer's Archive website will be of some help to the poor little guy!
