Even though my own connection to and involvement in the Luerzer's Grand Slam  Award  is a somewhat tenuous and marginal one as I just advise the organizers when it comes to picking the jury members and making sure that the stuff that makes it to that jury is worth judging, I'm please to say  that this year again, the Grand Slam awards came to a positive conclusion once more and can boast of some quite remarkable winners.
