Covid-19 has changed all of our lives.
For this new blog we have asked creatives from all over the world, all of them members of the Lürzer's Archive community, how the virus has affected them and their work.
First up is Eduardo Marques, CCO Publicis Spain.
"My day during this isolation period has changed a lot, of course, but I think we have to see more the positive side of what we'll get from all of it.
This is the time I've been working more than ever, I respond to an email, and five new ones come at the same time. Teleconferences are consuming the time of the day, and these meetings tend to be even larger, as we need to solve technical problems every time, all the time.
For us, creatives, to be without the “eye-on-eye” chats, without being together to share ideas, without the chance to tell some jokes or share shitty ideas to laugh at ourselves - is hurting a lot the creative process. But… at the end of the day, it´s working. Things are moving, and I´m impressed with the way we can all adapt ourselves to this new method.
The best of all of it is that we'll give value to a lot of things we were not giving before.
Not just professionally, but personally. The freedom, the open spaces, the hugs, the nature, the group of friends together. So, I think it´s a learning process for everyone.
Having to be apart has connected us more than ever."
