I've barely finished another video call, before I'm straight onto the next.
Never in my career have I seen clients listening to agencies as they are during this crisis. In all of the years I’ve heard our work can be a force for good, this now feels more true than ever.
In the agency we’ve been talking a lot about the ‘new normal’ that awaits us after all of this goes away. I hope we understand more that life is simpler than we believe it to be. We set ourselves goals and we run towards them for a future that’s never guaranteed. We do this at a high price of forgetting the present, which although unsettling now, is the only thing we have for certain.
So, I’m trying to enjoy every moment. Every colleague's face that I see on my screen. Every meal that I prepare for my family. Every walk in the garden with my 18 month old.
As I work, I listen to my kids yelling and running in the background. They break in and interrupt my video call. I enjoy every second of it.
