Paulo André Bione, Partner Academic Director, Miami Ad School Brazil.
Even if stuck at home, creativity has never been so free.
And we've been learning so much from this.
Things have changed dramatically. We changed denim and t-shirt for shorts and the same t-shirt in meetings. And the hats.
Because now we are living in a forever bad hair day.
When we do home office, we often forget about the “home part” and all the distractions we can face while working from home.
Happy hours are on our balconies. For bad and sad hours of the day.
Because of the pandemic, virtual became the new normal.
And the world will be divided between B.C. and A.C.
Before Coronavirus. After Coronavirus.
And this new world forces us to have attitudes and ideas that maybe we would not have had before. With more empathy. Now I realize that we used to live in a comfort zone. And today we are in a uncomfortable zone. Even when sitting in our living room’s sofa.
We could be looking at this negatively, but we can also see it as an opportunity.
A Unique one.
Staying at home has been the most challenging adventure I have ever been in.
As a person, husband, creative and partner of one of the best schools of creativity in the world. Miami Ad School.
At early stages of this pandemic, all Miami Ad Schools from around the world got even more creative in an effort to provide all their content online. Students laptops have become Miami Ad School’s classrooms.
All of this in less two weeks. Accomplished in a formidable way.
Knowledge has never been more important than now. The connection between students and tutors has never been more important. Professionally and Emotionally. Everyone wants to keep walking.
Our duty is to build a consistent academic program online, using the best technology available and the best people to teach.
We are a school of ideas. And good ideas can be an antidote to this current unusual times.
Stay home and stay connected to what really matters.
