I will have to say that while our current state is less than ideal, it has certainly spawned a different kind of productivity on my part. I have been creating imagery in my home studio and it has brought me back to my college days at Art Center College of Design… I find myself “tinkering” with setups and truly taking my time. With no deadlines in place no crew on deck, I am freed up to simply create and it has been a pleasure. Even the few projects I have done for clients have been at a much slower pace, in a good way. I am exploring different approaches and new techniques, and this past weekend I did a studio ‘cleanse’ and discarded a dumpster load of “stuff” which allowed me to open up the shoot space and consequently … more to come!….
