As indicated by its title, our latest volume of 200 Best Digital Artists - the last in this series came out in 2018 - this time incorporates Illustration. 2018 was also the year in which our most recent special devoted to illustration was published. Since most commercial illustration nowadays is done digitally, we decided earlier this year to publish a single volume with both practices lumped together. The result is this new volume which is available now. It boasts 360 pages, showcasing the work of digital artists/illustrators from a total of 37 countries. The cover page is from a campaign by JWT, Dubai for their client Boecker and was created by digital artist Ibrahim Barakat of Studio melt. The interview at the beginning of the book I conducted with Diego Speroni, the digital artist with the most work featured in Lürzer's Archive magazine and a frequent collaborator of our top-ranking photographer Ale Burset.
