We're delighted to tell Archive readers that we are going to be at Cannes Lions this year... and we're inviting you to take part in our Archive Creative Club for a chance to win prizes and be published in the magazine. Plus, the opportunity to mingle with some big advertising names!
The Club was developed by CHINI Africa as a forum to review and analyse the latest advertising to help creatives gain deeper insights into the needs of their local market whilst staying abreast of international industry trends.
Often the same basic idea acquires diverse characterisation dressed in the cloak of various cultures and we will be reviewing selected ads from different countries published in Lürzer's Archive.
Sergio Valente (President and Chief Creative Officer, DDB Brazil) and Toby Talbot (Executive Creative Director RKCR/Y&R, London) will work with participants to discover how the same central idea can gain sundry expressions when retold through the worldview and cultural perspective of each participant - using an app for iPhone and iPad (conceptualised by BBDO Moscow and developed by Mind Treat Studio).
You'll be able to work on ordinary paper during the workshop, but we encourage you to come along with your iPhones or iPads.
Materials created at the workshop will be posted to a designated website and the best ideas will win prizes and have the opportunity of being published in Archive.

There will be two workshops on Thursday 21 June. Location: Workshop Room Times: 12.30 - 13.30 and 17.00 - 18.00.
And as usual, we will have our booth in the registration area at Cannes so come and say hello!
