Yes, it's that time of the year again - time to log onto our online portal to elect the Student of the Year 2012. Professionals from throughout the world of advertising are once again invited to select the most promising new and up-and-coming talent.
Past experience has shown that the award can be a serious stepping stone for students looking to jumpstart their careers. Menno Kluin, for example, winner in 2005, is now a top creative on the advertising scene. The work he did for Saatchi & Saatchi New York earned him several Cannes Lions, and he's becoming equally successful at his present agency, DDB, New York.
This year's winner again stands to scoop a trip to an international advertising festival plus our special trophy, an individually designed Lürzer's Archive stamp.
Give the new generation of creatives a chance. After all, this forum might just be the place where you discover your talented new creatives.
How to vote for the Student of the Year 2012:
Go to "VIEW NOMINEES" and then click on the thumbnail of the nominated work to vote. You decide if the ad is a winner by simply clicking on Yes or No for each image. If you wish, you may also enter comments that we will forward to the student.
As was the case last year, a small but select jury, including a couple of top ad creatives and Michael Weinzettl, our editor-in-chief, will choose our Student of the Year from the ten works that have received the most readers' votes.
