Oreo’s animations wonder if fairy tale monsters could turn into cuddly friends if you gave them a cookie.
“Wonderfilled” consists of two animation commercials created by The Martin Agency in Virginia, Richmond. The 30-second spot was created by design agency, Royale, and the 90-second by director Martin Allais.
Accompanied by an equally fun-loving soundtrack as the concept itself, which features the distinctive voice stylings of OwlCity singer, Adam Young, asking “Wonder if I gave an Oreo to...” followed by the likes of the Big Bad Wolf or “the vampire from the creepy show”.
“[The campaign] focuses on the positive change in perspective the simple act of sharing an Oreo can create, tapping into the universal human feeling of wonder,” says The Martin Agency.
“The ability to wonder is something we all share, but too often forget or ignore. Wonderfilled captures the feeling that kids are naturally so good at, yet adults need to be reminded of: a sense of wonder in the world.”
The accompanying campaign website also allows fans to download the catchy tune, and the cookie brand also staged a capella performances of it in US cities to help it catch on.
