An ad for a Thai mobile company has had 7.5 million YouTube views since it was debuted on the video-sharing channel.
The three-minute ‘karma’ ad for phone company True Move H has become an internet hit. It starts with a young boy being caught stealing medicine for his sick mother.
A local restaurateur with a heart for the poor gives the boy a break – helped by his little daughter - and pays for the tablets, allowing the boy to be freed.
Thirty years down the road, the three are reunited again under the most unexpected circumstances. Tragedy strikes and the daughter faces a 792,000 Baht ($25,000) hospital bill.

However the touching film ends as it is relieved that the boy is now the man's doctor and has paid his bills for him.
TrueMove says the plot, inspired by stories shared on social media, is associated with the company’s commitment to create opportunities and improve the quality of life in Thailand.
The ad takes on the form of a heart-warming film spin with the actual brand not even being mentioned right until the very end. “Giving is the best communication” is the film’s tagline.
