Three riders - Marcio Fidelis, Walter “Vespaparazzi” Mariano and Hernán Rebaldería - left Sao Paulo, Brazil with a mission: to travel 3500 km in 12 days only using the products of JWT’s clients to complete the journey.
Armed with a load of brands as support including a Windows Phone from Nokia, Avon, Nestlé, Coca-Cola and Bridgestone, the trio of bikers including JWT Brazil creative director and copywriter Hernán Rebaldería decided to make a 3,500km trip through Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.
Hernán rode an 86 year old Vespa joining his co-riders for 12 days while only using products made by clients of JWT. Diego Kobayashi and John Unzer accompanied the trio in a Ford to document “The Business Roadtrip”.
The journey, which the parties involved claim cost half the price of a single-page ad in one of Brazil’s most prestigious magazines, is documented in a five-minute film.
Their destination was the international Vespa meeting in Paraguay. Let’s live vicariously and enjoy Rebalderia and pals ride bikes with names like “La Negrita” as they make it through their South American sojourn. Credits after the jump and a print version (in Portuguese) of their documentary can be found here.
