A mobile-first platform game challenges Ray-Ban fans to rescue their friends from the clutches of mediocrity, unlocking rewards as they go.
Dr Compliance has kidnapped your Facebook friends, according to this game created for Ray-Ban with the help of Stink Digital.
“Made” celebrates the new materials based Ray-Ban collection. Utilise the powers of Denim, Leather, Camo and others to reach victory.
The project is a personalised HTML5 game created Made is a HTML 5 game created to work across desktop and mobile devices using the Phaser framework.
Stink Digital worked with illustrator and animator Dave Prosser (from Studio AKA) to conceive and design designed a world of photocopier spaceships, monstrous filing cabinets and laser blasting line-managers.
The aim of the game - a side scrolling platform runner - was to jump, slide, fly and crash your way through the obstacle laden levels rescuing your incapacitated Facebook friends. At the end of each level, a boss battle ensues where you must dodge projectiles as the constructs try to run you down.
Ray-Ban material power ups could help you rescue friends caught in tricky areas or to help you through a maze of electricity and mines.
At the start of the game users can customise their character and this, alongside the sex of your 'significant other' is reflected throughout the intro, outro and cutscenes.
Successfully rescuing all of your friends from each level earns you a 3-star rating which you could tweet or share for bragging rights. So not much in it for you other than a bit of entertainment.
“Dave Prosser managed to bring a fresh and personalised stamp to the familiar style of a classic platform game - one which cleverly uses Facebook's profile data as its driving force to give each player a unique twist,” says Studio AKA.
The desktop version of the game can be played here.
