Ray-Ban’s Facebook app compiles unique animated films for fans of the brand.
The Envision Series saw Ray-Ban partnering with talented people from all over the world with one thing in common: a sense of purpose resulting in new ways of viewing creativity in social media.
For “Social Visionaries”, Stink Digital partnered with the folks from Animade to create a series of short films to tell their stories.
The digital agency have created a Facebook app that analyses data from Facebook and Foursquare, in combination with a number of third-party APIs, to compile a unique animated film for each Ray-Ban fan.
They worked with Animade to create hundreds of individual animations, which were then compiled into a short film, uniquely personalised for each user. The results could then be shared with friends, alongside a bespoke personalised cover photo for their Facebook Newsfeed.
