Pereira & O’Dell follow up Grand Prix winning social film with “The Power Inside” starring Harvey Keitel.
Intel and Toshiba’s “The Beauty Inside” by San Francisco agency Pereira & O'Dell was a massive success, winning a Daytime Emmy and three Cannes Lions Grand Prix awards. They have followed it up with a sequel once again inviting viewers to audition and be part of the story.
The trailer promises a six-episode series which plots a human battle against an invasion of aliens - who disguise themselves as bushy moustaches or monobrows and attach themselves to unsuspecting humans, turning them into droning zombies.
“The Power Inside” stars Harvey Keitel, Craig Roberts, Analeigh Tipton, Reid Ewing and Zack Pearlman.
With the help of his friends and technology (no doubt Intel-inspired Ultrabook devices by Toshiba) - and viewers - the main character, Neil, discovers he’s the only guy who can stop the invasion.
Viewers can visit to audition and be part of the film as a Urick or a Guardian – the good guy or the bad guy - through a Facebook facial recognition app that adds a moustache or monobrow to their self-portraits.
Alternatively they can upload an audition video showing themselves ripping or shaving off fake or real beards to join the human fight-back against the invasion.
The film will premiere on Facebook on 15 August.
