Photographer Andy Anderson has featured in Lürzer’s Archive for clients including RAM trucks, TravelTex, Borders and Outside Magazine. Based in the ‘real west’ state of Idaho, his images are serene and reflect his lifestyle. He tells us: “I’m a very curious person, and because of this I’m put into some very interesting places.”

At the moment I am working on...
A book called “Salt” which will be published by Rizzoli next year. I’m very excited about this.
The best piece of creative work around at the moment is...
Some of the mobile camera images are very interesting.
I am inspired by...
Interesting people and places. I simply love talking with very interesting people, no matter how diverse they are.
The next big thing in advertising is going to be...
CGI. It’s kind of interesting and scary at the same moment.
The piece of digital/advertising work I wish I had thought of is...
Nike’s work that coincided with the Olympics, called “Find Your Greatness”. It was genius and totally honest - something missing today in our medium.
In a film about my life, I’d like to be played by...
David Lynch.
In my industry, I admire...
The folks who inspired. Isn’t that what it’s all about? We never really have it all figured out do we?
The screen background on my mobile phone is...
My dog named Gus. He is a English Setter.
My last social media update said...
“MORE Photo Contests...it’s totally crazy how many there are. I think I’m going to start one. Why not...:)”
My dream collaboration is...
Revisit the American West. Like Richard Avedon did - but in a way that drills down deeper. The West has changed and I would love to document it.
A piece of criticism I’ve received was...
You can do better than that. Very helpful.
The last song of music I listened to was...
“The Outlaws” by Green Grass and High Tides.
