Mark Denton has been playing around with advertising for over 30 years and is director and creative director of Coy! Communications, London. He has produced award-winning work for the likes if Nike, Wrangler, Heineken and also designed the Lürzer’s Archive “Untouchable Covers” (and is described by the campaign’s creator Ben Gough as the “only person crazy and talented enough” to do so).

The first thing I do in my day is...
Eat my porridge.
At the moment I am working on...
A short film about the Nudie Books I used to find in the woods as a nipper.
The best piece of creative work around at the moment is...
The poster that 180 Amsterdam made for me where I was required to wear a see-through nightie. What makes it so? The fact that I had to wear a see-through nightie.
I am inspired by...
The ghost of Benny Hill.
This year I’ll be attending...
Various Ephemera Society events.
The next big thing in advertising will be...
The rediscovery of the billboard.
In a film about my life, I’d like to be played by...
Elmer Fudd.
The screen background on my mobile phone is ...
A monkey’s arse.
My last social media update said...
“Today I will mostly be wearing: a hairy bowler hat.”
My dream collaboration is...
Me and Bill Gates making the world’s best crazy golf course; I’ll design it and he can finance it.
In up and coming talent, I look for...
A haunted look in their eyes.
A piece of criticism I’ve received was...
“It’s too big.”
The last song I listened to was...
Wandering Star by Lee Marvin.
