This spot for the Playland theme park
begins with a white-knuckle ride at a dizzy
height, the viewer being face-to-face with
a screaming woman who is being shot up
in the air by a lift-like contraption. The
scene then shifts to reveal the selfsame
woman in the selfsame screaming pose,
suddenly surrounded by a dozen people
in a normal elevator. When she subsequently awakes, as if from a dream, she
suddenly realizes that her panicked reaction in such a relatively harmless situation
is a little inappropriate, and she falls
silent, obviously a little embarrassed. Yet
these are the lasting impressions one is
left with after visiting Playland.
