Durasoft Color Contact Lenses “Circus” & “Parachute” [00:30]#
A wildly romantic campaign for , of all things, contact lenses: The movie classic “La Strada” appears to have been the inspiration for the first spot form Durasoft Colors. We watch as a young woman makes up her mind to join a circus. VO: “. Her future was on the horizon and she was watching for it, watching with eyes as big and brown as . big brown . shoe . No.” The film stops, rewinds and the scene is played again, rewinds and the scene is played again, this time the woman has blue eyes. “With eyes as big and blue as the twilight with all of its secrets”, the VO waxes lyrically. In the second spot, an attractive female parachutist glides past a dilapidated drive-in movie screen on which a black and white 30s melodrama is being played. The same procedure as in the first spot. When the VO describes her eyes “as brown as . bark.d” the film stops, the commentator correct himself to” . as violet as the colors in a child’s imagination .” and, thanks to Durasoft Colors, the leading lady appears with violet eyes. Claim: Durasoft Colors. Give brown eyes a second look.
